Set up Smart Audio Alerts for Locations

  1. Tap Alerts and then Location.

  2. Tap + or Create reminder to add an additional reminder or your first reminder.

  3. Type the Smart Audio Alert you want to hear (Example: “Buy Milk, Detergent”).

  4. Choose a location to associate with the Smart Audio Alert. Select a location from various options:

    • MY PLACES which are your Home, Work, School, or Activity

    • OTHER PLACES where you have additional labeled addresses. You can add them in Profile > Favorite Places

    • Search or enter address to enter a new location if the location does not appear

    • At any Trip Start location if you want to hear the message every time you start a trip and when leaving from any location, even an unspecified location.

    • At any Trip End location if you want to hear the message every time you finish a trip and when arriving at any location, even an unspecified location.

  5. Select While Arriving or Leaving

    • Select Leaving if you want to hear the reminder when you are starting from the place.

    • Select Arriving if you want to hear the reminder when you are approaching the place.

  6. Choose when to be reminded, this option is only enabled if Arriving is selected in the previous step.

    • Slide to choose the minutes from 0 to 20, and specify how far ahead in time before arriving at that Place you want the reminder to be played.

    • With a 0 mins selection, the Reminder plays when you arrive at the Place

  7. Choose how often to be remineded

    • Once will stop playing the Reminder after the Location Reminder is played a single time.

      • Example: “Pick up milk” the next time you are 10 mins from Grocery Store

    • Always will continue to trigger the Reminder on all your trips.

      • Example: For all my trips, “check for gas” whenever I am 5 mins from my favorite gas station

    • Custom selects the days that you want the location reminder to be triggered.

      • Example: “Take out Garbage bins” on Tuesdays when I arrive at home

  8. Tap Save.

  9. Your Smart Audio Alert is created.

  10. See all the Smart Audio Alerts you set up. Tap any Smart Audio Alert to edit the Alert.

  11. You can see all the reminders in a Map view

  12. Delete a reminder by swiping left on the reminder and tapping Delete.
