Join a Meeting – OtoZen

Meeting Joiner allows you to join an in-app meeting hands-free. It ensures that you can connect safely and promptly while on the road. This feature is perfect for professionals who are often on the road but still need to remain connected and participate in scheduled meetings.

OtoZen Helps You Join Meetings through the Meeting App

The meeting applications (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Goto Meetings) must be installed on your phone. OtoZen reminds you via a Smart Audio Alert before launching the meeting application.

If the meeting application is not installed, OtoZen opens the meeting link in the browser on the phone. Then you must tap to join the meeting through the browser.

While driving, OtoZen reminds you of a meeting or multiple meetings that are about to start. An audio alert plays to confirm that you want to join the meeting.

To join, press the Play/Yes button on the Pod
To cancel hearing the meeting announcement or tell OtoZen not to join you in the meeting, press the Skip/No button.
If you do not take any action within 8 seconds, OtoZen will not connect you to the meeting

Mute/Unmute

Zoom meetings can be Mute/Unmute by OtoZen Pod (Android Phones Only).

iPhone

In Zoom meetings, set Wifi or Cellular Data for "Auto Connect Audio" to hear others, and always enable the "Mute My Microphone" to join the meeting with Mute. To do this setup, open "Zoom app -> Tap Settings -> Tap Meetings". You will see the screen as below.
Meeting apps such as Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Google Meet, or GoToMeeting, users need to choose the Mute/Unmute option from the meeting application.

Android

Users can Mute/Unmute the ongoing Zoom meeting with a click of the Play/Pause button on the OtoZen Pod. The user phone must be connected to the Car Bluetooth System.
Meeting apps such as Teams, WebEx, Google Meet, or GoToMeeting, users need to choose the Mute/Unmute option from the meeting application.

Note:

If the phone is locked, you will be asked to unlock the phone.
For Android phones, Accessibility Permission is required to launch the meeting application.
