Set up Automated Arrival Notifications

To configure Automated Arrival Notifications a Buddy must give you access to their location. To learn more about access and how to enable access, click here. If you have not added a Buddy yet, click here for instructions on adding a Buddy.

1. Tap on Buddies and tap on the Buddy.

   

2. Tap Notify me.

   

3. Choose a location from My Places, your Buddy's Places, or add a new location under Other Places.

   

4. Choose a notification setting. For example, if you have enabled the Leaving option, then you will get a notification when your Buddy leaving their home.

   

5. To set a notification, when your Buddy is 5 mins away from their Home, select the Nearby option and slide the Time to 5 minutes. 

   

6. Once set, you can see Leaving and Nearby 5 min notifications are set for their Home. You can repeat the setup for any number of Places choosing from Buddy's Places, My Places, or Other Places.

   

7. You can also set a distance-based notification, for example when your Buddy is 2 miles away from Buddy's Work.

           

8. Tap Notify me to see what is configured.

   

9. You will receive notifications in the app and via push notifications (if enabled).
