OtoZen and In-Car Bluetooth, Car Play, or Android Auto

OtoZen does not require a Bluetooth, Car Play, or Android Auto connection to function. However, you can get the best audio experience when OtoZen is connected. When connected, OtoZen's audio plays through the vehicle's speakers.

Without a connection to one of these services, OtoZen audio is played through your phone's speaker.

Important Note: OtoZen's Bluetooth Pod connects only with your phone's Bluetooth. The Pod cannot connect to your vehicle's Bluetooth system. 

Understanding How OtoZen Works with Bluetooth

There are two types of Bluetooth car systems:

1. Supports phone calls only

2. Supports phone calls and plays media from your phone

If your vehicle's Bluetooth supports phone calls only:

All Smart Audio Alerts, Automated Notifications, and Siri and Alexa responses play through the vehicle's speakers.

Google Assistant responses play through your phone's speaker.

If your vehicle's Bluetooth supports phone calls and plays media from your phone:

All Smart Audio Alerts, Automated Notifications, and Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant responses play through the vehicle's speakers.
