Set up Non-Driver Mode

Non-Drivers have a streamlined setup process. A great example of a Non-Driver is a child. The child can receive updates about a parent's proximity to a pick-up point, such as school or soccer practice. 

A Non-Driver's device does not need to pair with a Pod.

To set up a Non-Driver account, install the OtoZen app and create an account. The OtoZen app will automatically walk you through the setup. For the Non-Driver Setup, you need to follow the below steps. 

1. Tap Let's Go

   

2. Tap Non-Driver for Non-Driver Setup

   

3. Tap Share Location to automatically notify your location and ETA to your permitted buddies when you are on a trip

   Tap Do Not Share Location if you want only to view your Buddies location and receive notifications

   
   

   If you select Share Location then you need to do the below steps

   • Tap Allow

     

   • Tap OK to Allow Bluetooth Access

     

   • Tap Allow

     

   • Tap Allow While Using App to Allow Location Access

     For iPhones with OS 13.0 and below

     
     

     For iPhones with OS 14.0 and above

     

An OtoZen application will go through different screens which explain different features and it will help you to get a better idea about OtoZen.

1. Tap Continue to Set up a Favorite Places. You can skip it by tap Skip for now

   

2. Choose your Home address and Tap Save

   

3. Tap Continue with setup

   

4. Tap Next up: Location Reminder Alert for the next Setup

   

5. Tap Enter Your Reminder Text to set up a Location Reminder Alert. You can skip it by tap Skip for now

   

6. Enter the Reminder message and Tap Save

        

7. Tap Continue with setup

   

8. Tap Next up: Audio Alerts for Calendar for the next Setup

   

9. Tap Allow OtoZen to Access Your Calendar to set up Audio Alerts for Calendar. You can skip it by tap Skip for now

   

10. Tap OK to Allow Calendar Access

    

11. Tap Continue with setup

    

12. Tap Next up : OtoZen Siri Shortcuts for the next Setup

    

13. Tap Set up Siri Shortcuts to set up OtoZen Siri Shortcuts. You can skip it by tap Skip for now. These steps are only for iOS.

    

14. Tap Done to add Who is on a trip? Siri Shortcut

    

15. Tap Done to add Join Next Meeting Siri Shortcut

    

16. Tap Done to add Switch driver Siri Shortcut

    

17. Tap Done to add What's on my calendar? Siri Shortcut

    

18. Tap Continue with setup.

    

19. Tap Next up: Add Buddy for the next Setup

    

20. Tap Add a Buddy to set up your first Buddy. You can skip it by tap Skip for now

    

21. Choose any one option to add your first Buddy

    
    

    • From Contacts

      Tap OK to allow Contacts Access and select contact

           

    • Enter Name and Phone Number

      Enter Buddy's Name and Phone Number and tap Save

      

22. Tap Share if you want to share your location with your Buddy

    

23. Tap Continue with setup

    

24. Tap Continue with setup

    

25. Tap Continue with setup

    

26. Tap Go To Settings

    

27. Tap Location

    

28. Select Always

            

29. Tap OK

    

30. Your Non-Driver Setup is completed.
